Counseling and support for families experiencing the effects of alcohol and drug abuse.
The Raft program provides a range of services to families whose lives have been disrupted due to drugs or alcohol. It aims to enhance and strengthen family relationships and wellbeing and to also assist the family respond to the drug dependent family member. Family members may attend with or without the drug dependent family member.Families with drug or alcohol dependent members often feel isolated, anxious and stressed. The issues they face in order to maintain relationships, the family unit and support the drug dependent person can be overwhelming.Supporting families is important because:

Cultural & linguistic diversityEvery family is different.Raft’s service is tailored to the needs of families and individuals from diverse backgrounds, including indigenous, cultural and linguistic.We have interpreters available for people whose first language is not English. Other Raft services
