Getting Moreland moving with on-loan pedometers.
The Pedometer Loan Scheme is a project in partnership with Moreland City Council whereby pedometers have been purchased and are available for borrowing from all Moreland Libraries. The Scheme has been in operation for a couple of years already, and will continue to be promoted and evaluated. Evaluation findings so far indicate that borrowers are satisfied with the service and that the loan of a pedometer has encouraged borrowers to better monitor their levels of physical activity.
