PAG activities

Station Street Groups
Station Street groups have a warm and safe atmosphere where you can participate in a range of activities such as group discussions, bingo, exercises, arts & crafts and sing-alongs. The groups on Mondays through to Thursdays are for people experiencing memory loss, cognitive decline or dementia. On Tuesdays and Thursday our Italian speaking staff provide culturally appropriate support to Italian clients. The Friday ladies group is a dynamic and lively group always on the lookout for new friends.

Ilma Lever Gardens Groups

The groups based at the Ilma Lever Gardens run Mondays through to Thursdays and are ideal for people who love gardening and the outdoors. Activities include planting, pruning, growing fruit and vegetables, as well as crafts, painting and repairing outdoor furniture and fixtures, and discussing current affairs. The annual plant fair is a highlight of the year.

Ilma Lever Gardens Fair
The key focus for the year for the Ilma Lever Gardens is the Ilma Lever Gardens Fair, traditionally held on the second Saturday in November. There are a wide range of seasonal vegetables, native and exotic plants for sale at reasonable prices. The day has a community feel with local musicians providing entertainment, clients and their families also attend. There is a sausage sizzle held on the day. There is a regular attendance from residents in the area who purchase their plants and support the programs.

Glenroy Groups
Music, bocci, bingo and barbeques are some of the activities at the Glenroy Planned Activity Groups. Interesting conversation and fun adventures are always part of these groups. On Wednesdays and Fridays groups are specifically designed to suite Italian speaking participants.
