Assertive outreach to those with mental health issues living in Supported Residential Services (SRS) rooming and boarding houses.

The Linx program provides assertive outreach to individuals living with mental health issues in Supported Residential Services (SRS) and rooming/boarding houses. The Linx program works with individuals who are often living with complex needs, and who can be difficult to engage. The Linx Program provides both individual one-on-one support, as well as facilitating group programs for clients (E.g. Cooking group, walking group). The program aims to support this client group to engage with the community and enhance their mental, physical and social well being.

Eligibility

To be a part of the Linx Program, consumers must:

  • Be living within a SRS or rooming/boarding house
  • Be experiencing mental health issues

 

NB: To become part of the Linx program it is not necessary for consumers to have a psychiatric diagnosis, or receive case management support from a mental health professional. Accessing this level of support can be something that the program provides support with.
