Community based research in partnership with Melbourne University to encourage healthy eating and physical activity in primary schools.
Fun n' healthy in Moreland! is a 5 year community research project run in partnership with University of Melbourne and Go For Your Life. The project involves working closely with primary schools to promote changes that encourage healthy eating and increased physical activity. A comprehensive evaluation is being carried out involving the 24 primary schools randomly allocated as program and comparison schools. Baseline data was collected in 2004/2005, mid-point data was collected in 2007 and the final data collection will take place in 2009.
