Food Access and the Promotion of Sustainable Food

Food access and environmental sustainability are related.  A healthy, affordable and equitable food supply system is dependent on stable climatic conditions while also playing a large part in influencing such conditions.  We can all act locally to make changes that help reduce the negative impacts on the environment, for example by growing our own veggie patch at home, turning food scraps into compost, joining your local community garden or buying local produce.
