Non-appointment based information and referral service to address social welfare needs for people in the community.
Duty Service is a general social work service. It provides information, advocacy, assessment and referral to address people’s social welfare needs. Duty workers are professionally trained and the service we provide is confidential. A youth specific worker is available on Tuesday afternoons. Duty service is also the intake service for the generalist counselling and social work programs within the health service.
Interpreter servicesTelephone interpreters will be offered and arranged at no cost to the service users.
ReferralsAnyone can make a referral to the service.
EligibilityAnyone in the community can use the service.
AvailabilityDuty service is available only at our Coburg centre from 1pm to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
