Dental treatment with a focus on long term oral health.

The Dental Service provides effective dental treatment with a long term commitment to oral health. Treatment provided is provided under the guidelines of the Dental Health Services Victoria.

In September 2008, the Dental service at Moreland was expanded to provide treatment to School dental children as well as adults. The school dental children are currently been seen at the Brunswick site.

The Dental team consist of dentists, dental assistants, an advanced dental Prosthetist, a dental therapist and reception staff.

Our Commitment is to provide the highest quality and most appropriate dental care to you that are available within the public system. Our dental team aim to provide you with the highest quality of care and educate you as to how to best look after you teeth and keep them for life.

 

The Dental Service provides the following:

  • Emergency care
  • General care
  • Preventive care and education on your oral health
  • False teeth
  • Referral to the specialist services at the Royal Dental Hospital where required.

 

We aim to offer professional advice which will then enable you to make the best decisions possible for the long term health of your teeth.

 

Eligibility

Adults: Need to hold a current Health Care Card or Pension Card  

Waiting times do apply however for any emergency problems adults are able to call and access the emergency system.

 

Children:  0-5 can be seen under the Preschool Dental Program. You must be a resident in or attending a kindergarten, preschool, child care facility or a family day care facility in the city of Moreland.

Fees apply for non health care card holders.

 

Hours of Operation

We are currently open from 9.00-5.00pm for the adult services and from 8.30 to 4.30pm for the School Dental Services.
