About Us

Brief Overview

Merri Community Health Services Limited (MCHS) formerly known as Moreland Community Health Service Inc was formed in 1994 through the amalgamation of the former Coburg Community Health Centre, Brunswick Community Health Centre and Co-Care (Youth and Disability Health Service). It operates from a number of sites in the City of Moreland and in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne.

A Board of Management governs the Service while internal management is organised through service units, with General Managers and Managers.

Key CEO Message

Welcome to MCHS!  We are a community health organization that serves a community of over 140,000 residents across the northern region of Melbourne. Located over 11 sites, and offering services for children, youth, adults, people who are aged and people who have disabilities, we are a sustainable, well managed, efficient and multidisciplinary community health service.  On behalf of the Board, the Executive team, and all of our dedicated and committed staff, we look forward to welcoming both new and returning clients to our service.
